Monday to Thursday: Closed to the public (except during Dharma assemblies).
Friday to Sunday: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Sunday lunch service: 11:45 AM to 12:15 PM (Please bring your own reusable lunchbox)

Things to know before visiting the temple
• This temple is a pure and sacred place of practice. All visitors should calm their minds and bodies, respect the Three Jewels, and offer sincere prayers to receive peace and good fortune. Please dress modestly and avoid wearing shorts (skirts) above the knee, slippers, sleeveless tops, etc., when visiting the Buddha Hall.
• The temple provides natural and environmentally friendly incense for the public to offer and pray for blessings. Please do not bring your own incense.
• When entering a Buddhist monastery, please remain quiet and refrain from loud talking, playing games, or playing music that may disturb the peace.
• The temple is a sacred place where millions of people practice together; please work together to keep it neat and clean.
• Please do not bring fish, meat, eggs, garlic, or other pungent foods into the temple. Smoking, alcohol, and narcotics are strictly prohibited.
• All flowers, plants, and trees within the temple grounds belong to the temple's sacred property. Please do not pick or break any flowers or trees, or pick up stones or other items to take back as souvenirs.

• Please do not discard scriptures or Buddha statues arbitrarily within the temple. If it is inconvenient to keep them, you may give them to relatives and friends for distribution; this will bring immeasurable merit.

• If children are with you, please do not run around, play, or make noise.
• Those with poor physical or mental health need to be accompanied and cared for by a family member.

Group Practice
Monastic study will be held Monday through Thursday. It will not be open to the public (except during Dharma assemblies).
Friday to Sunday: 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
1. Please wear a haiqing (black robe) and socks. If you do not have a haiqing, you can purchase one at the reception desk.
2. Please remove your hat and tidy your appearance.
3. When you take off your shoes before entering the hall, please place them neatly in the designated shoe area.
4. Please refrain from talking inside the hall.
5. Please turn off or silence your mobile phone. Taking photos or videos is prohibited inside the temple, except for volunteer photographers.

Group reservations for visits
Toronto Lingyen Pure Land Monastery upholds the traditions of ancient monastic practices. To allow you to fully experience its tranquil and focused atmosphere and to share the Buddha's compassion and warmth with more people, we offer group guided tours by reservation. We sincerely invite you to visit.
Eligibility for reservation: Schools, organizations, or groups with 15 or more people are eligible to apply.
Visiting hours: Tuesday to Sunday, 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM daily. Reservations:
